Default Tranny issue?

Hey guys,

This morning I got in my truck and started driving, but it wouldn't shift into overdrive. It finally did after about 5 or 10 minutes of driving, but I don't understand why. It was cold this morning, but a few mornings ago it was like 0 out, and it shifted fine. Fluid was good last time I checked. Any ideas?

mine will do that at almost any outside temp. i beleive it has to do with the fluid and tranny temp. when its summer here, mine will generally shift into o/d faster than in winter.
