Those "snow h8ers" have really no idea what they're missing!

This year has been terrible in the midwest for snowfall, we've hardly had anything. This was the first fall that warranted getting the snowblower dusted off for. It was also the first time out for the Dakota in snow.

Overall, I'm very happy with how it drives. It's far more balanced than my Ranger was, I'm thinking the quad cab, short box chassis offers a much better weight distribution. I'm sure the track and wheelbase is bigger too.
Not too big though, it's still a smaller pickup. Dare I say it handles "sporty" in the snow? It's amazingly neutral and can easily be pitched into a 4 wheel drift on or off the throttle. The V8 power is a welcome step up from the Ranger too.

I can't wait to install a locking diff in the back, currently it absolutely sucks to drive in RWD. It lights up a single tire very easily.

They are ebay knock offs of ANZO USA head lights.

Nice video. I know what you mean about the lack of snow. We only have about a foot on the ground up in Vermont and usually its waist deep this time of year. I haven't even had a chance to go have some fun when it does snow... We need a good 2 foot storm.

That is about the same here, we finally got some snow yesterday after it rained all night and half the day so the 4 inches we got were all slushy and the roads were slicker than snot, but still got out and pulled some donuts in a couple parking lots.

Same boat in Philly. We had a dusting about a month ago and we got a whopping inch/two inches on Friday (all ice now).

@Shomegrown That video was awesome! Like a Top Gear meets Warren Miller video! The snow spray on the camera was great touch also!

Thanks guys.

Actually my GoPro is down for the moment, I broke part of the mount. Camera is fine, I'm just waiting for replacement parts.

The opening scene was with an older Poloroid digital video recorder (not that good). The action shots were done impromptu with my iPhone 4 sitting on a tripod.
