do you have a roll cage megashifter? when did that become the benchmark for performance? i mean, i understand where youre going with this...that if it runs mid 11s or better it has to be caged in the IHRA or NHRA tracks..but it must take an incredible amount of tuning to get that engine to run well...

I don't really think it was meant to be more than a show truck anyway. That 360 would never take the air volume being produced by those SC's. When I saw it running, not run the 1/4, it was popping like crazy. I was somewhat amazed it ran at all, but he never did even goose it, soooooo........

Don't need it (yet) 'Don't run 11's. (I'm NA) I'll know one way or another when the engine's done. With a blown 440 in that thing... he should be runnin' some serious numbers. Nobody I know of has ever seen this thing actually run but you. Mechanically... 4 4bbls, and twin roots type huffers is a bit much. (fuel and boost). He (Sheldon) has done some other 'gee-whiz' stuff... including a jet turbine Dak that was on e-Bay recently. One of the guys at Rockingham noticed his intake manifold was cracked. No doubt he whomped it to do that if those huffers are gennie. I suspect one may be... and one possibly two of the 4 bbls are functional. My contention is 'form follows function'. This is a show car... not a racer. It's poses as a racer... as many do. (I'm not a real race car... I just play one on parking lots.) You've seen many of those I'm sure.

Yep... that's a 360. Dick Landy was marketing a single B&M blower set-up for the old motor (prob'ly still is). That would work... providing he could keep the head gaskets intact. Dunno why he changed it. He's got the Cervini sniper kit on the lower half... odd that he retained the stock mirrors at that point. All things equal... that configuration should be in the 9's.
