Actually... two years after the fact.... Dodge DID make a version of that Stillen bumper... and the Cervini cladding (which I don't particularly like) with the Dakota Stampede package. They couldn't copy it directly, but it's close enough. I obtained that bumper facia within' a few months of them being made and announced in Mopar Muscle (2001) so I really didn't copy anybody. Same source and time frame for the tonneau. Nobody has the same combination that I do that I've ever seen (and I've looked at a lot of Dakota's). Don't presume to tell me what I would or would not do. You're totally unqualified. You wouldn't comprehend the rest of my 'jibberish, 'cause it's so far over your head you have no reference base. Your idea of modification seems to be restricted to the pages of the JC Whitney catalog. How 'cool' is that? You're apparently comfortable in your ignorance... but I know your type. No future, no past 'n the present is tenuous.

Hence making it even more uncool because then theres yet another person with the same looking truck. Atleast when we change it like some of us do that makes it a little bit more unique.
How many times have you seriously been driving around and seen more than one dakota with a cervinis bumper on it??? Without being at a car show or something along that line. The reason you see "soooooo many Dakota with the same damn bumper" is cuz your spending too much time on the internet, reading post about the damn bumper. Prob'ly the same stuff. It was a little warped when I got it... but a nite in the heat booth straightened it out. "Everybody's" got 'em now tho... Can't hardly turn a corner w/o seein' a Cervini or Stillen or Stull bumper.
There was one cover on e-Bay that made the rounds in the R/T community tho... 'had a matching rear bumper cover... not a roll pan. The rear looked like a diving platform; it was huge... 'n the bumper was... absolutely horrible. [:'(] 'Looked like somethin' from the 'Whacky Racers'. It didn't blend with the trucks lines at all. 'Hope you post pix of your when it's painted. Y'mite want'a check out customcargrilles.com for some decent grille mesh too. That Cervini stuff isn't all that good.
