Default Best/Cheapest way to lift?

I am sure this question has been asked before but a search didn't turn up much. I just got my truck and want it to sit a little higher. I am not looking to do anything to soon but down the road, I would like to do 2-3" of lift but no body lift. I've done the torsion bar crank on a few of my buddies Chevys but does it work well on dakotas? Can it be perfectly re-alligned after? As for the rear, would and add-a-leaf be better or blocks? I plan to tow with this truck down the road (~5,000lbs) so I don't want any problems with axle wrap or anything. My plan is to run 265/75/16 Duratracs, but 285s look mean!

Again I just want it for looks mainly as this truck sees mainly road but some wooded trails up north that requires 4lo which is why I am getting an agressive tire.

Thanks in advance!

T bars will work if you have 4wd! And yes you can get it alligned right! Add a leaf would be the best way to go if your towing! Blocks will do the job as well though. U can get about 2 inches from the t bars! Thise tires are gonne look good man
