V6 engine into 4 cylinder stick?
Has anyone done this before? I have two trucks, a 98 dakota 2.5 4 cylinder with a manual trans.. and a 97 dakota 3.9 V6 with an automatic trans. The 98 has a blown engine, and i want to take the engine out of the 97, but not sure if it will work because of the different transmissions. I've looked everywhere for an answer and havn't found anything. Will it fit? Bolt pattern the same? Will the computer work? Any info appriciated!
