Replaced my rear QC seats...
A while back I removed the 60% seat and replaced it w/ a 2nd 40% seat and a center console from a '99 R/T. It looked OK, but not symmetrical. So I went to the salvage yard and bought a 2nd set of front seats and went to work.
Here's what I did:
Removed seat from truck
Separated back from bottom and removed upholstery and padding
Removed upholstery and padding from donor front passenger seat and separated back from bottom
Cut down the frame ends of the donor seat back and drilled for pivot points
Cut off the child seat loops from the rear seat base
Installed donor seat padding and upholstery to rear seat bottom frame
Bolted donor seat back frame to rear seat bottom to line up the hook system
Created the hook system to hold seat back to rear wall of cab using a cut down barn door handle
Pulled the upholstery off the seat back foam
Pulled the bolts out of the bracket that hold the back to the bottom so I could remove the back and install the foam
Reinstalled seat back (foam was sandwiched in between the frame and the bracket)
Reinstalled back upholstery
Bolted seat into truck
Scrubbed the upholstery with foam cleaner.
Here's the passenger side finished:

Project took approx 12 hours but there was a lot of figuring it out along the way. I think I could do it all in about 1/2 the time if I did it again.
The point was to have rear buckets but to look as if it could have come from the dealer like this.
Works pretty good. Only issues are that the flip up does not work so good due to the thicker bolsters and the hook system is too short and the back comes unlatched on flip up... it drops right back in though on flip down.
