Default could be ABS

My Dakota feels like that if braking hard at times its just the ABS kicking in feels kind of weird.

Feels like my front calipers are comming loose but they are fine every time I looked.

Default just weird that’s all

I check my ABS out two times a year by going out some place with no traffic and slam my brakes on a few times going at least 45 to 55 and it always feels weird because they pulse it does feel like my front end is coming loose it’s just weird that’s all.

Did the steering wheel pull to 1 side too? That happened to me and when I finally figured it out, it was the bushings on the steering rack allowing the rack to shift under hard braking. Hope you figure it out.

No, nothing like that.. just a sound.. I had everything checked out the other day.. its all tight and nothing loose under there.. just have not had everything fine tuned; being Firestone aligned it and didn't do it right... the Tors. bars are part of the process and one is completely out of whack; causing the right side to sit almost an inch lower.. so they aligned the wheels to a truck that is leading ROFL!

Do any of you guys ever hear a clicking/ticking noise from under your dash when you stop hard, almost like and electrical clicking/ticking?

I've heard it a few times on fast or panic stops in my '04 QC, figured it was the ABS, like a solenoid or something? Just wondering.

I think you should probally make a new post for your problem; my truck is a 97 which is going to be very different than the 04... most likely.

I would make your self a post specific for your issue...
