im going to say the pcm is bad. i would honestly get one from a junk yard or from a dodge guy like my self that has one for sale what works just fine. also i would change the crank sencor to mopar because these trucks dont like after market parts that are "supposedly" OEM. also the coil if you move it to a place the wind hits more like the heater vent duct or upper fender before the air box it will keep it cooler and help save on the life. mine laster 70k the first time and this one is on 76k and going strong now. as for replacing all you sensors that a line of smoke so black its crazy. getting the truck timed deffently but replacing all that is just a waste of money iv only replaced 1 o2 sensor and my coil i havent dont a crank or cam or tps or iac and my truck has 146k and runs like a top actually i think it runs better now. i did do a timing chain set and a intake set on it but will be replacing the intake in feb.

with the A/C it make me wonder if theres broken wiring in the number 1 port for the pcm. it seems all the motor sensors are throwing codes.

I was thinking the same thing. I dont know if its the wiring or the pcm itself. I know how to change out parts but when it comes to electrical im lost unless theres step by step instructions or a youtube video on it. Thank for the input guys. So far im still working on the exhaust manifold. I had 3 bolts break on me, 2 of them broke off flush, which is a pain. I have one left thats stubborn. I bought a mini torch from harbor freight that broke after the second use. So I will have to get a new one. The others came out with the extractors I got from HF as well. I should have it done tomorrow. Then I can work on the other problems.

Default More problems

So, I was working on my drivers side manifold, trying to extract what was left of a stud broken off in the head. It wouldn't come out so I decided to drill and tap it. When drilling it I was at a wrong angle and the tap wont tap because it bottoms out before it gets to the upper part of the tap that actually creates the new threads

Not saying thats your problem for sure, but If it were my truck that would be my prime suspect. Try tapping on the PCM with the handle of a hammer or heating the pcm with a blow drier and see if the problem is easily duplicated if you want some more assurance...
I know this is and old post but thought I would add some comments. I have been dealing with this issue for some time and could not determine the actual cause of the problem. Recently my truck became harder and harder to restart after dying out. I opened the hood and wiggled the connectors on the PCM, got back in and it fired right up. When restarted I wiggled the connectors on the PCM again and when wiggling the center connector the engine stumbled and died. I ordered a remanufactured PCM from All Computer Resources on Ebay, put it in and the issue is resolved. As a side note another problem with the ABS system seems to be resolved as well. The brake peddle would at times get really stiff and hard to press and other times it was really soft. It has now returned to how it felt when I first got the truck, consistent peddle pressure.
