my 04 4.7 4x4 with an auto tranny has been surging when i come to a hard stop maybe around 0-10mph. it only does this when im coming to a stop from overdrive. almost feels like a late downshift. second problem which actually when away is when in park and putting the truck in gear it hesitates to pop into gear and does after two seconds and it i have my foot on the brake it slams into gear, third problem is when in overdrive and i go to pass someone and i down shift hard it revs up and slams into gear. any ideas?

 

Man sounds to me like you might wanna bite the bullet on that one... I think she is done for.. perhaps the clutch plates, or a pressure issue...
