$3320 to fix it. I'll just have to pay my $350 deductable. It doesn't look bad in the pictures but there is a lot of stuff tweaked and broken behind all the plastic. Just glad it isn't totaled.

Yeah stuff is rediculously priced these days... Back in July some guy backed into me, knocked my bumper just enough to tweak it a little and scratch it. I could've fixed it myself, but since I had just replaced it all, I was pissed. I got the guy's info and took it for a quote and was quoted $500 just for them to shoot a coat of paint on and realign the bumper. Talking to the body guy, he explained that the cost of paint has gone way up, which is the main reason they gotta charge so much more. The guy who backed into me ended up writing a personal check to the body shop to fix my truck. And I got my bumper painted body color, so it ended up to be good for my Dak.

Yeah paint has gotten expensive. I'm assuming they'll need to paint a new bumper and grill. I'm just glad I had full coverage or I would be out a vehicle.

Yeah I don't have collision on mine, but I do have comprehensive. I think hitting a deer would be covered under comprehensive. But whether or not I filed a claim would depend on how bad the damage is, because they'd probably jack up my rates. They'll definitely need to paint your bumper, idk about the grill though. Probably.

Yeah hitting animals is covered under comprehensive. Kinda dumb but it is.

Yeah I wasn't sure what it was covered under I'm just glad it's covered.

It's really stupid that my rates would go up because of it. I hit a deer, nothing anyone could do to stop that and it could have happened to anyone. I wasn't driving drunk and hit a tree. Bull****.
