Default Front end problem 02 V8 QQ Sport 4WD

I've been unsuccessful in finding any similar posts on the forum.
2002 Dakota Quad Sport, 4WD, 108K miles.

I'm getting the feeling of a great deal of friction or resistance coming from the front end. There are no noticeable sounds coming from the front end, rotors were just turned (thought that could have been part of the problem) and the brake shop that did them said the wheel bearings were good and they didn't see anything (like a hanging caliper or other) that caught their attention. The resistance was very evident when we had ice on the roads, as when starting from a flat parking lot, there was enough resistance to cause the rear wheels to spin. The resistance is somewhat similar to engaging 4WD and trying to turn sharp on a dry surface (minus the grunts and groans normally associated with that).

Any ideas where to start? Thanks

Sounds like a stuck calipers. Mine did the same thing right after I did a brake job on my 2001 4.7 4X4. Replaced the caliper and everything was fine again, it has been 6 months and the problem has not come back.

I think you need to find a new break shop or do them your self in the future.
