I have heard that the chips don't work. It seems like you have what you have for MPG's and there is not a lot you are going to do about it. Good luck.

Chips don't work, the computer just re-learns the programming. I've heard some pretty bad things about G-force and how they actually make the vehicle run worse. You're better off looking into getting a tuner instead.

I looked up some chips on ebay that were for sale and found alot for good prices. WHite lightening, fuel max, mind blower, jaw dropper, german engineered performance, magnum performance, all of these are around 20 to 30 bucks. other then that performance chips direct has a chip for 69 also that claims to give 4 to 7 miles per gallon.

Absolutely true, spend your money wisely. Those chips are pure BS.

I would honestly go with a Superchips 3715 if you wanna see anything and actually not just throw your money away. You can get them used for pretty cheap...that model at least and for what you want it for I wouldn't see a reason in spending more for a newer model. Look around on forums and ebay till you find a deal and make sure it is UNLOCKED! I got mine like 4 years ago on ebay for $150.

The ebay chips are just resistors that "supposedly" trick the Intake temp sensor into thinking you are getting colder air. I have had a noticed response on my old Tacoma but not on anything else. Garbage in other words

I bought a chip and put an ohmmeter on it, it was just a resistor. it goes on the iat sensor to make the computer think cold air is coming in so it runs richer. i don't know how that can be good for fuel mileage. just buy a programmer, it can give you mileage and power.
