Default Does the 45rfe pump in Park?

I had an old Jeep Grand Wagoneer years ago and the tranny would only pump in Neutral, found that out when I was doing a tranny flush and pulled the return line and started it up and nothing happened until I put it in Neutral, wouldn't pump at all in Park.

Just wondering if the 45rfe I have in my '04 Dak pumps in in Park? I know there are some tranny experts kicking around here, so any insight is appreciated.

Thanks.

You may get little bit of pressure, not enough to run a flush exchanger though... Usually do it in gear with E-Brake and foot on brake about 1400 rpms...

Yes it does. I flushed a few weeks ago.
