RE: Turbo
yeah, the compression was way off when i compared but it could be equaled out in some way. I was told by some guy that turbos everything that as long as you werent pushing too much boost you should be fine with the stock compression. Its a risk still none the less. Id like to do it once i can buy another vehicle so that i wont have to rush to throw it together. that way i can do it right and make it work.

Well, he should be able to utilize the turbo off the LeBaron though.....again he will have to do some fab work and what not....but since it's both Dodge vehicles....and since they both have a 2.5L engine.....it should be possible...

BUt they are 2 completely different motors. They just share the same displacement numbers. Turbo unit sizing should be close if thats what you were getting at.
Its been YEARS since I played with turbocharged cars. Last time I took a turbo apart was 92 when I rebuilt a friends Merc Capri RS's turbo unit.
Heres another downside to turbos. Longevity. They will shorten the life of a motor. You have to develop a starting and shutting off the motor system (ya gotta let teh oil pressure build up after starting before you take off and you gotta let teh car idle down for 30 sec or so so the turbo wont coke. Shutting down immediately after being under boost isnt really good for it). Thats why I had to rebuild that Capri's. HE f-ed the bearings up shutting down right away. Granted these are older setups, new ones might be more tolerant.
