Default I will give a shot at it

Well I will remove the Hat get an elbow and give a wack at it and see if I feel any improvement.

Anything has got to be better that that big crazy thing on my 2.5.

Something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/70mm-60mm-ID-BLACK-90-Degree-Reducing-Silicone-Elbow-Hose-Pipe-Reducer-Silicon-/260517644207?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM& hash=item3ca80fc7af

You don't want a reducer. You want both ends to be the same size so you can fit one end around your TB and the other end around another pipe. Do you still have the 4.0L throttle body or are you back to stock on that?

My 2.5 is a happy little guy now.

I have the one before. but that one looks like it would do the job. But I have experience with the previous one, thus it's the only one I can rightfully say works. I had a short ram from eBay, and there was no point as it got just as hot as the metal next to it.

Default Good for custom air intake parts

I just found this place has lots of custom air intake parts these are not cheap parts but if you want to make something nice and custom they have the stuff you need.

Avoid using metal, it gets hot and heats up your intake temps. Make one out of PVC it is 10x cheaper. I feel like i'm freakin typing to a blind guy or something.

Default relax take it easy

Relax take it easy that just happened to be the page I was looking at so I used it as the link. I’m using the silicon tubing but decided to get the aluminum tubing as a cheaper connector just cut sections out of the one tube the single connectors were $10 a piece the one tube is $16 and can cut as many connectors I like from it compared to $20 for two.

My goal is not cheap but custom on this the silicone will insulate the air well.

I see. I wasn't worked up i'm just saying, people ask for help and advice and when it's presented to them they ignore it anyway.

Default grabbed few parts

Grabbed few parts the silicone elbow a few connectors the full pipe I wanted they didn’t have the correct size I needed. One reducer I found out the throttle body is a 2.75 inch but the hat and air box is a 3.25 so I need the reducer to fit the throttle body.

Should have everything next week.

Will still need some tweaking Im sure.
