Help! None of my windows work except from drivers switch. I hit lock button and nothing happens. Will I need to replace whole drivers switch if lock button has stopped working. Thanks for your advice.

Either your contacts are dirty or the circuit board is cracked.

Or just loose connections, if you slam your door a lot they can loosen over time.

Just pull the panel off and check them, and clean the contacts and examine the board for damages like olsarge said.

I believe the master lock out switch is bad, and this is a common problem for our year dakotas/durangos. If you pop the master switch out all you need to do is make a jumper wire to the yellow and brown wires. This will bypass the lockout switch, but should make all the other windows work.

Brett Penny, how did those solutions work out for you? I've had the same problem with my '04 Dakota since I bought it used a few years back

Same problem with my 01 Durango. The passenger and rear windows would not work from their own switches, only from the drivers switches, so it seemed like a windows lock switch problem. I popped up the drivers side window control switch panel, fiddled with the connector, and it seems to be working now, but touchy. If it quits again I will make a jumper as described above by MoParMan (thanks) and just bypass the window lock switch.

Shouldnt need the window lock much anymore since the kids are older.
I know if I try the bypass, it will short out and I will burn up the truck.

So I found this on Rock Auto.

seems like a decent price. and I found instructions for replacement.
