so i have a sub in my truck and from blasting it my stock speakers took a dump, i took the stock ones out but the connector to it is for the prongs that are close together, but the kickers i bought the prongs are spread apart.




i just am confused how to get the connector to spread into 2 seperate wires to go on the prongs

 

Split then pull apart should work or are the stock connectors like a single hard plug as far as I remember mine were not a single connector.

 

You're going to have to get new connectors, or solder the wires on the new speakers. I suggest the latter...
