Hey! Not sure if this is the right thgread for this but here goes. I'm building/rebuilding a 5.9 magnum engine and I cannot find one particular freeze plug for it. Its on the back side and it measures 1 5/16" versus 1 5/8" for the majority of the others. I've had Summit check and cross-check for me and they say they cant find it all the way back to the 1960's engines. Does anyone know where I can find this freeze plug? I prefer brass although at this point I'll settle for steel. Thanks.
Hmm. never thought of that although a 1 5/16" tap might be hard to find, expensive and difficult to find a threaded insert...i think. Thanks for the reply.
have you any experience with that website or the products? I received a freeze plug that included a concave cam bearing plug and it didnt work at all. not sure how one of these would work but i suppose it would be worth a try. I sent for a quote. Thanks for the suggestion.
