Yes and sounds like it is the oil pump. How many miles are on the engine?

Could just be gunked up oil passages. Most likely is the pump but not necessarily.

My Dakota runs registering low oil pressure. It started when I had some junk build up in my oil pan and its been like that since. BTW I got the oil pan scraped and cleaned
