Are you talking about a CAI? There are a lot of threads of people who have made some homebrew ones. If that's what your looking for that is...

Yes.. I have the same 10" cleaner but i have the 3" filter.. Spectre.. because its taller i had to get a little wing nut adapter kit from Summit.. worked really well and still have a little more room can go about up to a 3-3.5" filter barley.

Thumbs up

@jondakotaguy & NickCornell,

Did either one of you have a CAI before installing your TB air cleaner?
I just wanted to know what the gain, pros & cons were between the two setups.
I hear that your MPG can take a hit in the colder months with a CAI and the filters are super expensive.
The Edelbrock's that you guys have start out pretty inexpensive and it would be nice not having that CAI tube hanging around.

I'd love to hear your views on both or either setup.

Thanks!

Yup I like my air cleaner the only thing is I would like a shield, engine gets pretty warm and the metal gets hot which I'm assuming isn't very good however it's as high flow as you can get. With a heat shield/which I heard Rubbermaid toats work perfect, I should get rid of the heat problem
