Hi guys,

First off, I'm looking to add a sub woofer to my truck behind the passenger seat where the jack used to be. If you have fitted sub woofers in a regular cab truck before please send me a private message as I have a couple questions. I plan on making a guide once I complete my setup for others to use.

To start, behind the passenger seat where the jack used to be, you have the bulge below... What is the best way to get rid of it? Is it easiest to cut the carpet so it fits flat?

Second, the bracket the holds the jack in place - how do I go about getting rid of it? I dont see any easy way of getting it off without cutting. Is this my only option?
