Default Sale price for 04 Dodge Dakota V8?

I have had my Dakota posted on craigslist for about 3 months now and I havent had any cash offers only trades. I am wondering if I have the sale price too high and what I should be selling it for. If you need any more information let me know. Also I'm new to the forum so correct me if I'm forgetting anything.
It is a Quadcab V8 with 142000 miles on it. I have the craigslist ad posted for reference. I'm not trying to advertise it I just need help. Thanks

with 140k mileage 9k is way to much to ask for IMO. i would ask around 6500 for it

9k is what dealers around me try and sell dakota's for. private seller its between 6-7.

im surprised that an 04 QC with 140k is worth more than an 01 CC with 90k

Its all in demand and rarity. Like my truck its a 02 there is 05's going for the same price with the same mileage but no ones wants a 3rd gen ram they all want a 2nd gen ram.

now adays, the price is based more on the model year than milage. yes miles plays a part, but not as much as you think. vehicles are still babys at 100k miles, so its not as important anymore.( just heard this info on the clark howard show)

Kelly Bluebook is saying just a shade under $8,000; $7,977. Of course, anyone coming to look at it is going to try to talk you down a bit. Maybe ask $8,250 "Or Best Offer"...
