eBay to the rescue
ebay to the rescue
Well it looks like this part is nonexistent now no one makes this part not even aftermarket you can only get it in non A/C and only with Mopar at $110 to $150.
So ebay to the rescue I found a lot of them on ebay form $20 to $60 used or bone yard same price.
I bet this is some kind of Government restriction or something they seem to find ways to eliminate any cars older than 12 years old, the old we must get rid of older polluting cars crap binge they are on.
Start stocking up people these parts are getting hard to find.
One good note I’m not sure but looking at some pictures that the fan speed control just may be removable from a new model and replaced on your older model that has A/C on it as I said I could only find these control modules with no A/C just air.
I will find out taking my old unit apart and see if this is possible or if I may be able to repair the fan speed control at all maybe I can get it apart and Fix it MAYBE!!

OK well OK
OK I received my ebay A/C controller and I’m a little pissed off they sent me one with a snapped off back multi vacuum connector one of them that is BUT I don’t think it will make a difference and they sent the snapped off part with it I guess trying to make me think it snapped off in shipping but there is no way it could of.
But its usable I think the connector is just to hold it in place not to crank it down in place its basically held on by the push in connector.
Looking at it I may be able to remove my plate and swap them.
I do think you can just remove the fan switch only and swap if needed I will find this out next Monday when I start on replacing this.
This is the cut off Vac connector and broken plastic bolt/post that came with it Nice ebay seller you jerk.

The Outcome is Great
The Outcome is great
Well I removed the A/C controller and swapped it out this morning and now I have all my fan speeds now it worked great nice cool A/C again.
So what was the problem?
The switch had become covered with a thick black film on the contacts causing resistance that develops into heat or in my case very hot heat that then melted the surrounding plastic that then got into the contacts causing even more resistance it got so Hot it even melted the back of the fan speed connector almost destroying it.
I wish I had not wipe off all the black film so you could see it but look at the black stuff on the **** side contacts and you can imagine how black those contacts were.
I had smelled burning wires this last week but didn’t know what was going on well now I know.
Some info for all that may run into this problem and need a new or in my case ebay controller you can just swap out the switch if needed one screw and it comes out just remember to position it correctly back into its bay on the controller properly.
