I'm looking at doing a tuneup and oil change on the truck. I didn't know what the best performance plugs were for the 5.2 and what oil/filter to use.

Also, was thinking cold air induction possibly. My truck seems to run better in Massachusetts than it did in Florida, so that's where i get the cold air thing from...

Anyone recommend what parts to get to gain performance cheap? I don't wanna spend a lot, but maybe gain some decent power for add ons.

I built a custom intake out of PVC and some rubber elbows with a high flow filter for really cheap with a cosiderable difference in power. The stock intake circulates air through so many different chambers that it drags the truck down severly. So i cut them out and made it a straight pipe from filter to TB. I dont know about the bigger motors but for the 2.5 this was a great mod, cheap with a great difference.
