Default Throttle Body Spacer

I have a 2004 dodge dakota, (4.7 V8) and I am looking at throttle body spacers to help performance and hopefully put a dent in fuel consumption. Looking at them I see different patterns depending on brand and would like to know peoples opinions of what works and whats worth buying, or not buying

I was wondering the same thing a couple years back when I had my ram with a 5.2 so I bought one to try it. All it ended up being Is the most expensive piece of aluminum I ever purchased to sit in my tool box and collect dust. And I believe Ive read the same thing about spacers for the 4.7 Im sure if you did a search you will get tons of results on this topic

TB spacers are worthless on FI engines. They work great on carb motors, this is because they increase the amount of time the air and fuel mix meaning more power and efficiency. However on an FI motor the fuel is injected from the intake manifold right before the cylinder so a spacer will do nothing, but make your wallet a bit lighter. I've also heard of spacers working on TBI motors too.
