Default TBI to Carb.

Was thinking about changing my 97 5.2 tbi Dakota to carb. Dumb Idea??
(will be used for mud truck)

It's easier to work on.. I had the old style 5.2 L.A. in my 98 and enjoyed it. Edel 4brl intake and 600cfm carb. If your engine is stock do not go any bigger than that. I traded my 600 for a 750 and it was never the same. Terrible mpg and just couldn't get it to run quite as good. I don't know the pro's and con's a carb setup would be in the mud vs tbi. I know when I yanked all the computers and wires out of mine I didn't worry about sensors and flux compasiters anymore.
