Performance ECM
Hey Guys,
After being a 1st Gen. owner for 10 years, I recently bought a 98 Dakota and gave my 96 to my son. I've slowly been doing up-grades to the 98 (headers, electric fan, camper shell). I have a set of 1.7 Harland Sharp RR's on the way and a Plenum reinforcement I'm planning on installing at the same time. I just found a bargain here in Tucson on Craigslist, but before I jump on it I need this question answered. Will a Performance ECM from a 99 Ram 1500 work on a 98 Dakota? Both vehicles are 5.2 4x4 but my Dakota has a manual transmission. Not sure whether the Ram is manual or automatic.
