p0144 1/3 02 sensor shorted to voltage.
p0740 torque converter clutch no RPM drop at lockup.

Check the wiring to your oxygen sensors.

Do you see the RPM's drop when the tranny goes into OD?

The torque converter clutch is supposed to engage in 3rd and 4th. You may feel some slipping if it doesn't engage.

i do feel slipping, so could this be the torque converter itself or the tcc solenoid and how could i check for which it is?

It could be either.

The transmission can help diagnose the problem. With a DRB (dealer) it can report line pressures and any codes stored in the transmission control module. Line pressures should be checked at a minimum. The shift linkage should also be checked to make sure it is correctly adjusted and the bands may need adjustment.

If short, it needs a thorough going over before saying "this is it."

Has the code reappeared since?
