Last time i checked there was not enough room between the engine and the fan motor and assembly actually not even enough room for it to fit between the motor and the radiator.

But yeah I like the idea of just mounting the fan like you have in your other post.. hell i even see Rock Auto sales the same replacement fan under the 95' Thunderbird which used the same fan..

Its really crazy looking back through my posts and looking at some of the things i was talking about and feeling; it was during a heat wave drought and she still did very good... The liberty fan did a good job; mounted to the stock shroud the way i had it; but if i seal up that gap or build something better so it can really get a good air flow pulling i think it can do better having better efficiency... it is just another option for people to have to pick from and honestly i wanted originally to keep it to something someone like me can just run down and build their self with out paying someone.. but we can build it better.. why stop at simply mounting it to the shroud

I'm kicking around an idea to build out of sheet metal or something along those lines I'm drawing up the plans now actually in preparation thinking about how I'm going to do this the simplest way possible not having any way to cut or weld... only using scres, nuts, bolts. Many have done it i just got to think about it plan it and do it
gotcha. Sucks that you can't move it to fix that, definitely a good couple inches lost there.

rad wouldn't be so bad…but condenser could be a pain. Maybe when you replace your compressor.

eh.. my compressor still running strong not sure when that would be.. for now i'm going to build me something.. and i got a few ideas for this truck that will help improve efficiency with out having to have all that extra work done on the hVAC system to swap out to the newer design.
