Default wheel bearings

i was just wondering what brand you guys use for wheel bearings. i was looking at the moog, SKF, raybestos, and timken front wheel hub assemblies. i can't decide between which ones to get. not really worried about the price difference mostly worried about how long they will last because i don't want to replacing these any time soon after they are replaced. also i believe moog has been bought out by national and now is not made in the USA. i would really like to stick with parts made in the USA also. but out of the three which one is the best and made in the USA.

i just talked to my dad and he said he has used timken before so i will probably go with them. also i am redoing my front brakes and i know the one wheel bearing is shot but the other is still pretty good. so should i just replace them both while i have the rotors and calipers off or should i just do the one? i got a feeling that since the one is shot the other will not be far behind.

I have bought several from a company off ebay called Detriotaxle and had good luck. My Jimmy has had them for 2 years and no probelm and my Dakota has them for 3 months. I paid $80 for the pair.

Watch moog they are using copy cat companies with SOME stuff. .

Timken if you want longevity, and just make sure it's not the china copy cat timken. .

Its really up to you if you wanna replace both. I say why fix something that isnt broke. I bought a ebay hub off ebay for my dakota they all said it wouldnt last 6 months had it on my truck for 20,000 miles did lots of off roading and when I sold my truck it was still tight as the day I got it. Not bad for 63.00

i am probably going to do both bearings. also do the Timken bearings come with new bolts and hardware or is it just the hub. another thing is has anybody found a website that is the cheapest for the Timken hub assembly. the cheapest i have found is rockauto.com at $101 a piece. i am going with the Timken ones because i want the bearing to last and also because i only use the best on my truck and the majority seems to think they are the best.

I doubt you are gonna find much cheaper. I think when I looked at napa they wanted 180 per. It prob doesnt come with new bolts. Check to see if you have 4 wheel abs or not.
