4.7 Owners Whats your MPG's + Thoughts to Imporve
Whats your MPG's????
Please post if you have a 4x2 or a 4x4
Im getting 10 with my 4.7 Quad Cab 4wd with 31" tall tires and 3.55 gears
I think this is low given I have a CAI and Flowmaster, dont take off fast, and getting no check engine light
Im thinking a O2 and a tune up even tho my plugs look pretty good, they are standard resistor autolights
I have also ran seafoam through the tank and intake
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

I've got an 01 QC 4x4 and i get 18 to 19 on the highway. My avg mpg (city and highway) is 14.5. Atleast these readings are what my overhead console says. I've never actually sat there and calculated it out myself. Everything is stock on my truck, only thing it has is the factory off-road kit.
i have seemed to notice ..forgive me if i am wrong but larger tires affect mileage, i went up 1 size over stock and mileage dropped a lil..i get 13.5 city and around 18 hwy..355 gears with a trac-loc rear end..do like to hear the engine tho lol. i changed my IAC some time ago a noticed a dramatic improvement and rightly so it was pretty gummed up...My wife has a 99 dakota w/318 stock tires stock everything and she gets around 17 city 20 hwy
I have a 01 Durango 4x4, 31" tires and 3.55 gears. I get about 12 combined. All i've done is take off my Clutch Fan, removed the OEM air hat, 2.5" i/o thrush glass pack, and synthetic engine oil.
well i need to re cal the speedo, gps said i went 120 on 10 gallons, and says 56mph when speedo says 49 dash said i went 108 miles, so im really getting 12 and some of that (45 miles) was pulling a 2300lb trailer
and thats like city/country road driving
