Got a boat!
What's up guys! So now instead of just being a when needed vehicle since I have my car now, the Dakota just became my boat hauler! I ordered some new shackles for it since they are both starting to rust through the center and I don't want any problems down the road. Also need to just go over everything and make sure she's in good shape for towing this thing all summer as well as get new front brakes. I put the clutch fan back on as well to help out in traffic with the boat. I go to pick it up this Thursday so hopefully I'll have some pics up by the end of the weekend. The boat is a Tracker Nitro 160 TF with a 60 horse Johnson Evinrude Pro Series. We need to get it running but for the price I got for, I'm not complaining!
Here's the pics as it sits...boat is heading to the shop to get the motor running on Tuesday...also found out that the Superchips Tow setting actually is worth it, when I switched back to economy mode last fill up it just feels less ballsy with the boat on it. The Dakota is definitely getting 93 and Tow mode for as long as it's a boat hauler.
Here it is on the way home...boat will have seen about 2 grand plus into it plus purchase cost in the next 2-3 weeks.

The way they sit until it heads to the shop on Tuesday. I'll have to get a pic up once I get the chance to remove oxidation and polish the boat, with the Dak on it.
