Default New headlights

I am getting these headlights this weekend and have a question.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DODGE-DAKOTA...ht_4666wt_1139
My question is what would the easiest and cheapest way that I can wire in the LED's to work as day time running lights and have them shut off when I turn my lights on if thats possible? Any help would be great, I am a poor married college student and it has taken me 6 months to save up for these.

Never get "aftermarket" lenses from eBay. They look great but that's really all they got going for them. What they supersede in looks, they lack in functionality.

Not all ebay headlights are junk. Pretty much what makes them junk is how thick the mounting brackets are. I paid 134 shipped for my ebay lights. Any special reason why you want to keep drl's? Im not sure how the drl's are wired up in these trucks.

Here is the lights I had. Good fit and great light output(tho I had hid's) brackets were a bit thin but not too bad for what I paid.

Why do you want to replace your current headlights? Just for looks, or are the stock ones in bad shape?

I tried that BlueMagic stuff you see in the value bins at most auto parts stores, it does work ok, it just takes some patience.

My headlights are beyond help, I have tried pretty much everything and they all help for about a week then it goes back to the way they were. I have the same light bulbs in my wifes car that I have in my truck and her's are 10x's brighter and I just want to be able to see at night, plus add a different look to it. Well I don't have drl in my truck that I know of but the ones I am getting have a led strip that can be used as drl and I was just wondering if there was a way that I could wire them up that way for cheap.

Just skip the drl's and hook them up to the parking lights cause you will need a drl module to run them. Mine are setup with my parking lights in my ram and it adds a cool stance along with my hid fogs.

Okay, maybe I'll just hook them into my parking lights then.

If you really want to use them as drl's just hot wire them with a fuse-able link and a toggle switch... just don't forget to switch'em off when you park the truck
