ok cleared and took it for at least 2 key cycle drives. Codes that come were p0300, p0301, p0303 and p0305. When I got back I hooked a scan tool up to it that had a misfire counter and cylinder three and four were the only cylinder having misfires and very little time I would say about 3 misfires on three and four in 10 minutes. I will note I put in a remanded injector on cylinder 4 and ever since then that injector has been missing every now and then. But I don’t know why I’m not getting a code for cylinder 4 misfire.

3 and 5 misfiring together is not a good sign. Compression test?

I have done a compression test twice I don’t have the numbers on me right now but when I did them If I can remember correctly they all looked about normal because I thought the same thing could be a blow head gasket between the cylinders.

What spark plugs are in there? How old are the ignition parts? Wires routed correctly?? (I think there was a tech bulletin about that..... but, don't recall the number.)

yeah I looked at that tech bulletin, it was for the 5.7 and 5.9 but I did Learn that the spark plug wires have to be an inch apart. But yes I’ve replace spark plug twice because I heard that the truck was picky about the spark plugs. But rotor rotor cap, spark plug wires,(NGK spark plugs and ignition coil were all replace about 4 months ago I’ve put less than 3000 miles since then.

Copper plugs, right?

How do the plugs look? Any obvious problems?
