Headache rack ideas?
I'm going to build a headache rack for my Dakota to haul a canoe over the cab. I haven't really been able to find any pics of a Dakota w/ one installed.
I'm thinking I'm just going to wing it and build one from 1/8" or 3/16" 2X2 square tube. But any pics of what you've done w/ your Dakota would be great...

Do you need one? I have the small, single cab with ladder racks and I can fit a 16 foot canoe on top no problem. Today, I had a 16 foot canoe and a 10 foot kayak on top with a 8 foot kayak in the bed. I haven't had an issue with any rubbing on top
