Brake fluid opinions

I'd stick with Dot 3.
The truck came with it so you know its compatible. There is no real need for Dot 4, you don't need the higher boiling point.
If you ever need to top off, or someone at the QuikLube tops it off (I know you do your own work) you know they'll put in Dot 3.
Just my two cents.

angry at shop
My brake fluid should not have been that bad when getting a flat tire fixed 5 years ago I had them flush out my brake fluid.
But as you can see they did not shops they are such bad rip off artists probably charged me but never touched the bleeders
I go to shops only if I have no time or no other choice
