Default Durango to Dakota

Hello all.
Wow so much info on this site. I have a 2000 Dakota 4x4 with the 5.9. The motor, tranny and diff are tired so I bought a 2001 Durango with the 5.9. I want to put the motor tranny and diff in the Dakota. The only thing I am not sure about is the Durango has an electronic shift for the 4x4 but my Dakota has a manual shift. Is this easy to change over. What would be involved in changing from electronic to manual.
Thanks for any and all responses.

No, it's manually shifted in '00. In '01 it went electronic with a **** on the dash.

On the engine/transmission use the '00 electronics. Dodge made changes to the computer bus in '01 and they are not compatible.

What do you want to do with the t-case?
