Default Accessory key position question

I never used the ignition switch accessory position until last Saturday. I know, hard to believe. Anyway, I noticed that in that position the CEL, ABS, airbag and brake lights were all illuminated. They didn't just flash on for a second or two; they stay on as long as the key is in that position. Is that normal? I've never seen that in any other vehicle I've owned.

That's the run position. It's normal for those lights to illuminate. The accessory position (Radio) is actually turning the key backwards (counter clockwise, if looking straight at the ignition)

I'm not in the run position. This happens in the accessory position. I do know the difference. I'm assuming there is a problem with the switch?
