Default Driver's window has separated from lift

Got a 1999 Dakota pickup with crank windows, and the driver side recently failed. I removed the door panel today and my inspection revealed that the window glass has separated from the two attachment mechanisms on the lift. I tried to reinsert it but it's not going easily, which seems right otherwise it would come right out again. What is the proper way to reinsert? The clamps are bolted onto the lift arms, and I'm not sure if they need to come off first before reattaching to the glass, and is epoxy used? One is easily accessible and in view; the other is hidden from sight. No doubt the window frame needs "lubrication" too, with silicone? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Unbolt the 2 black clips from the linkage then reinsert and tighten, but not too much. The clips have teeth to prevent the window from popping out but I still used a bit of PL400 just for added strength. Works great after 6 months.

Thanks for the reply. Is the clip on the right accessible only by feeling for it? I didn't examine it long today but it appears to be hidden within the door. I did reach in and felt it. The one on the left is visible through an opening in the door panel.

Yeah the one closest to the front of the vehicle is more difficult to get at but it's definately doable. Just play with it a little until you can get at it.
