Unhappy No more Edelbrock shocks?

I am on my 3rd set of shocks, Monroe's, which I do not like. I was thinking of going back to the Edelbrock IAS that were my second set, but it seems Edelbrock is not making shocks anymore. At least that is what I seem to see on various sites. Too bad, they worked great, and worth the premium over the Monroes that seem to be very poor on my truck, with all the bouncing on expansion joints they do.

Is any other company making IAS technology shocks?

Or try Bilsteins?

Default Edelbrock dont like them

I had the Edelbrock shocks on the front of my Dakota and they sucked my Dakota bottomed out all the time with them maybe the ones for a 4X4 are better but for my 2wd they sucked.

KYB all the way now and I like them no more bottoming out.

I had KYB's and didn't like them so installed Rancho 5000, didn't like them now have Bilsteins and I love them. The others could not control the front springs. When I would go over a hump in the road or top a hill the front end would bounce several time, now it settles right away.

Yeah.. I dont have springs; i have torsion bar.. being it's a 4x4. I have the Gas Adjust one's by KYB dont know much about them. I guess they are ok.. I think they have a little bit too much give I like a stiffer ride in a truck.. but that's just my personal preference. I don't wanna feel like I'm riding in a Cadi when I'm in a 4x4. Defeats the point.

I only put the Bilsteins on the front and left the Rancho's on the back. The front is the hardest to control because of the weight. I also installed the rear sway bar. Now the truck handles much better.

I've got KYB up front and Monroe Load Adjusting in back. I've had no trouble at all, plus I've got a Belltech sway bar in front and back too.
