I have a 97 dakota with an 44RE automtic trans. I have pulled the pan to replace the filter and adjust the bands. I'm thinking about installing a drain plug in the pan. Has anyone installed one and if so what location in the pan worked best for you . Naturally I thought the low point of the pan but there is very little clearance due the pump housing takes up most of that area. Any feed back would be very useful .Thank you
