Champion Copper Core gapped to .040 is what the manual calls for, and what the engine is designed to run best on.

Autolites. I forget the model number now, but I bought them at Wal-Mart. They have about 30k miles on them now and seem to be fine. They made the truck run a lot better after I put them in but I'm not sure how long the ones before that were in there. They may have been original.
