Im looking to buy a 2001 dakota but the rears shot and before i bought it i wanted to find a used rear for it but all i could find are ones for durangos. The Dakota rear is a 6 lug 12 bolt 3.55, The durango is the same but its an 02 durango. Will it fit?

 

Call a wrecker and see if they have the Hollander criss cross. IMO it should fit.

 

IIRC, everything is the same except the shock mounts. The Dakota are on the bottom of the axle and the Durango is on the top.

 

so could i take the durango rear and put it under the leaf springs?
