Default driveshaft question

i'm in the process of building a new front driveshaft for my dakota, eliminating that stupid cv joint thing and replacing it with a velocity joint from a ram i'm just wondering if the yoke on the t case can be changed with another one to go from 6 bolts to 4 bolts like the older trucks.

it can be changed out with a gear puller better check out compatibility though, my local driveline shop got one for my truck, i now have a much stronger front driveshaft with 2 u-joints installed, Advantage Driveline in Jackson Mi (517) 768-8940, they might be able to point ya in the right direction, they are very knowledgeable and helpful, bolt on upgrades are always nice
