01 3.9 parts
Hey all, I'm need of some parts via salvage yards or your's laying around.
My upper fan shroud is broke, pretty badly. It's missing half on the upper, so 1/4 from the total and while idling it will get hot. Being as I live in the desert the danger of overheating is always there. Sitting at a stop light will make her rise. I cannot leave it running or use my remote start for more than 5 minutes before I have to run and tach it to 1500 or higher to get air flowing - neutral and I are very antiquated.
I just need the actual shroud, NOT the fluid reservoirs. Chrysler doesn't sell just the shroud, they sell the whole upper package for $350 - That ain't gonna happen. So if you have one, know someone with my model I would greatly appreciate it. I've look at yards but no matches.
Also, A/C aux fan, start, and glove box.
Thanks in advance

Hi dino
my fans shroud is broke too
I have a couple but the are for 92's
The Hisperia pick a part has a half price sale tomorrow...
Mine was hit in the front several years ago
so from ye old parts stash...
4 core brass radiator from a 73 New Yorker 440
AC condenser from a 70-80 Maxivan with dual air
a couple of pusher fans from a BMW (or something thin)
The pusher fans really help the AC and at stoplights
highly recommended
I have the 9 blade mechanical fan with the 195 degree fan clutch which was a service bulletin for early trucks
Also a big plate tranny cooler with half inch lines
Perfect for heading up the hill to the tramway or to 29 palms
