Got is cleaned up and cover back on, looked good, snapped a few shots.

Will fill it tomorrow after the RTV sets up.

filtered the old lube and nothing caught. Both clips still intact.

Drained the t-case and will refill that and work on the trans tomorrow.

Hows the gears compared to a 3.55 gear kinda thinkin of changing mine..you'd have more torque right?? Quicker out the hole?? But lemme guess worse gas mileage, Would it affect your shift points?? Raise your normal Rpm's, higher right??

I have a Durango so cant compare to a Dakota.

Myself I wouldnt invest in new gears unless your diff is shot, plus if you have 4wd now you have to re-gear both. If your paying someone, it is going to cost.

I would think the 3.55 would be better on the highway, lower revs, better mileage.

I might get 16sh on the highway with the Durango and the 3.92, in a loaded SLT+ with 3rd seat, tow package, rear air so it is the heaviest, also is in full time 4wd all the time.
