rev to 3000 rpm uphill

Default rev to 3000 rpm uphill

This question is for a durango with the 5.9 i figure same thing anyway truck drives fine everywhere but up hill revs to 3000 rpm but with no power to the ground but drives fine everywhere else

Durangos were only available with an auto.

Oops, I was thinking Dakota. Not clutch slippage, then. I would put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see if it's losing pressure under load.

What model transmission is it?

There is no information other than 5.9 Durango.

Since you've posted in this forum I'll assume it's a 46RE.

The durango is an slt with the 5.9 unless they used a different trans in the RT i would assume its the same wich im pretty sure they used the 46RE in the RT's but its not mine its my gf's uncle and he is getting advice from a bunch of military tech which are telling him some crazy stuff unless your a tech into cars as a pass time you never touch normal cars but still think there top mech lol

It should be the 46RE behind a 5.9.

It really sounds like a slipping clutch.
