Default What type of leak?

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9L 4x4 with 140000 miles on it. I have been noticing some drips in my drive way, or where ever I park for that matter, coming from my truck. I check my fluids weekly and they seem to stay the same to me. It is probably and really looks like oil, which I believe sits above my transmission, at least that's the way it looks. I have attached a couple of pictures. In the pictures the drip is coming off my transmission, but it is black/dark, not pink. Also there are two big bolts that are loose, and one small one that is missing off a thin metal piece that is attached to my transmission as well. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like it's coming from up high, like maybe a valve cover. Definitely looks like motor oil.

Default I say the same

I say the same motor oil probably from valve covers they leak for everyone at one time. Time to get new cover gaskets.

So it is more likely valve cover seal than oil pan seal?

Also check the oil pressure sending unit on top of the engine beside the dist.
