3.9L v6 magna flow cat-back dual exhaust
anyone have it? does it sound much better/louder than stock and if you can give ur opinions on the complete system and videos if you have them thanks alot-wanting to make my truck sound good
Yep, have it, love it, sounds great! Allows the 3.9 to breathe better noticed better power especially at low end. Some ppl swear by flowmaster but I prefer magnaflow sound and the muffler lasts longer, sounds better with age. Go with stainless steel pipes, looks good and lasts forever.
got it on my dak as well.
Love it, Loud... LOUD LOUD.
quiets down after she's warmed up on the highway some.
my only suggestion is to make sure they do a nice tight fitment.
mine is very loose, and bounces quite a bit these days.
also whoever put it on in the first place (it was on when I bought the truck) didn't consider a little more clearance would have been nice at the rear springs.
Otherwise, go for it. You won't be sorry if you want loud, and a noted improvement in performance.

I believe that was the set that was originally installed on my truck.
my pipes are 3.0" from the cat, back and my tips are 3.5"
my headers are stock, but I'll be looking for new ones as soon as I can.
I'll move to true dual at that point though.

Ahh, Very Nice. And 3" It sounds good with the Cat installed? i wonder if not having the cat would make it sound different?? Since here in Ok, we dont conform to smog regulation, So my truck doesnt have the cat.
It sounds great even w/ the cat installed, though I don't imagine the cat would take away from it much.
If I didn't have to conform to emission standards here in Ontario, I'd have straight pipes all the way.
